Instructions

  1. Place each slice of beef on a wide plate or tray and season with sea salt and black pepper.
    • If you don't have flour, you can use pancake mix or starch instead.
    • If using pancake mix or starch, you can skip the seasoning step.
  2. Crack the eggs into a deep bowl, beat them well, and set aside.
  3. Prepare the flour and egg mixture in separate wide trays.
  4. Heat the cooking oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Coat each seasoned beef slice with flour, then dip into the egg mixture, and place in the preheated pan.
    • If the beef is too large to handle, you can cut it into smaller pieces before cooking.
  6. Once one side of the Yukjeon is golden brown, flip it over.
  7. When both sides are evenly crispy and the beef is cooked through, transfer it to a plate and serve.

Tips for Success

  • Make sure the oil is hot enough before adding the beef to achieve a crispy texture.
  • You can adjust the seasoning according to your taste preference.
  • Serve the Yukjeon with the Choganjang dipping sauce for an extra burst of flavor.
